notes
Patty Parker is a singer whose warm and engaging singing style encourages the listener to sit back, relax and be entertained. An accomplished vocalist who enjoys travel almost as much as singing, Patty’s debut album, takes us on a magical journey to experience song by song some of the most wondrous places in the American landscape. Favorite places where she herself has travelled and which over time have become an important part of her musical persona.
Southwestern Serenade is a tapestry of songs written by Frank Fara & Patty Parker extolling both nature’s splendid monuments of time as well as the enduring & magnificent human spirit. If you’ve ever seen the Grand Canyon for the first time, experienced the mystery of Navajo Land, or wondered how many of nature’s creatures live in the Giant Saguaro Cactus, then this album was created with you in mind.
Patty also pays tribute in song to special people who influenced her life, such as her favorite western movie couple Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, as well as honoring the love and prayers of her Mother and Grandmother with a song written by her Father.
This is an album to play over and over again to enjoy the comforting ambiance and savor each nuance which the singer has infused into it. Like the magnetism which reaches out from the Red Rocks of Sedona, let the music and songs draw you back time and time again to Patty Parker’s Southwestern Serenade.

Richard and I will certainly continue to enjoy it. We'll be listening to your CD in the car as we drive to one of our favorite spots in the world: Sedona. Love that song--Sedona Serenade!

author: BOB MORRITTPatty Parker sings of the good old days in Arizona, to quote an original Rodeo rider George Fischer," At any time around ANY corner, Arizona can toss you a beaut of a surprise. An unusual bunch of rocks, or mountains--A place of beautiful flowers,a funny looking animal or bird, crazy weather, hidden canyons, secret trials" Patty sings of those good old times in a sincere warm performance.
