notes
Hi You,
This is the recording that got my whole thing started. I made this cd by myself with a very straight-forward goal in mind: create a kick-ass, guitar-based album of my favorite musical ideas. That's it! Hope you enjoy it.
Check out my two PdR studio albums with live DVD concerts.
You can grab some PdR merchandise now, too!
We play around the San Jose, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco, CA area regularly. Check our MySpace for show dates.
The cover art was created by Tess Spisak (tspisak@cca.edu) of Santa Cruz, CA.
All My Best,
Patryk

Feedback on Semyaza9
author: Aaron Rauber, Retribution- Seaside, CAI was really impressed, Pat. The music has a lot of diversity...the album has an overall good feel...the leads are very cool...
A Compliment...
author: Scott Crarey- Santa Cruz, CA...sounds like Joe Satriani and Helmet.
Strange-looking CD has a song with my name...
author: Tina Pierce-Stockton, CASo, I'm browsing through CD Baby today, and I see this one with a song called "Tina The Teenage Tank Commando" and I'm thinking, "What in the world is this strange-looking cd all about?". I listened to the samples and unfortunately there isn't one for the "Tina" track, but the "Prato" song is SO BEAUTIFUL, so I'm picking this one up. My roomate will like the harder-edged stuff and I like this track along with "Saelyk" (another very elegant piece) which I guess Patryk named after one of his cats (I peaked at his website too). I knew he was just a sweet guy that loves his cats. Great guitar playing all over the place! I can't wait to hear all of it. Ladies, Patryk is hot. Check his website out for more pics of him. I'm a sucker for guys with long hair!
Nice variety of compositions with wonderful playing throughout. Not just another
author: Frank Chesterton-Houston, TXI believe this guy has what is referred to as "talent". There doesn't seem to be any recording trickery (digitizing, quantizing, etc.) going on as I listen to Semyaza9, just raw talent. This is what true industry people and musical officiando-types appreciate and look for. The compositions are very solid and so is the playing. Keep it up, Patryk! You will get noticed. I want to say Al diMeola could be a possible influence? I recommend Patryk's Semyaza9 cd to anyone interested in truly masterful guitar work.
