"Voices From Beyond" is a family tribute to our sister Julie Jensen (Griffin) who was brutally murdered by her husband at age forty. Julie was the mother of two small children and was a selfless tender loving person who was the only girl of her siblings. From the year of her death in 1998, it took nearly ten years to finally convict her husband guilty of the heinous crime. He was sentenced to life in prison with no parole in Wisconsin 2008. Each piece is inspired by a small slice of Julie's life: childhood, personality, siblings, being a mother, her difficult marriage, her letter from the grave, and her living by the lake.     I became acquainted with the CD from newsmag story about her tragic murder and ordered the CD shortly after that. Since receiving it, I only continue to be moved by the talent of the Griffin family and the extraordinary love in that family, exemplified by the heartfelt compositions and performances on the CD. Everyone is a talented performer. The music is soothing to the soul and I hope equally so for the Griffins.

This CD is a wonderful tribute to a dear sister, but the music will touch the heart of anyone who has lost a loved one.     My husbands family all come from Wisconsin and our two sons live in Milwaukee now. The music you made in honor of your sister Julie is a beautiful way to pay tribute to herand hopefully someday her sons will want to hear it. I love listening to the notes, I have to admit, this trial was a heartwrencher and luckily the jury seemed fit to believe Julie, although the evidence was far more substantial than they thought. I can play the cd and think warmly of someone who loved her family and is smiling from above. She would be very proud of her brothers and family. Best regards! jody Kreckel
