The Happy Holidays Collection combines modern and traditional sounds. It is upbeat and clean sounding; allowing Long Island talent to take Holiday Favorites and do them their way. "Winter Wonderland" (Cadillac Moon), "Jingle Bells" (Ghosts of Electricity), "Christmas Eve" (Revolver), Winter Wonderland" (Denise Donahue), Do They Know It's Christmas (Iridesense), "Silent Night" (Marc Andrew) and "A Christmas Letter" (Chairman WOW) will fit nicely into various music formats, including Rock, Pop, Adult Alternative. "Boogie Woogie Santa" (The Little Wilson Duo), is a upbeat blues tune that will not only fit into a Blues Format but will work nicely in Rock, Pop and AAA formats as well. We have a number of instrumentals on this CD. "Little Drummer Boy" (The Lone Sharks) is Rockabilly and upbeat; "O Come, All Ye Faithful" (Jera Denny) is an upbeat rock instrumental. "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" (Joseph Fogarozzo) and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/Auld Lang Syne" (Bob Westcott) are beautiful acoustic guitar pieces that would be a nice fit in any folk or "lite" format. "Silent Night" (Johnny Cuomo) will play well in Irish music programs, as well as folk and lite formats. Cantor Judith Merrick sings a traditional, "Rock of Ages" combining English and Hebrew, making for a beautiful interpretation.
