notes
Karin comes to Nashville via Long Island, New York. So what does this New Yorker know about country music? Always at ease out of doors whether on horseback or camping out, Karin is really just a country girl at heart - so much so that there's a running joke in Nashville that she must have really been born in Kentucky. Influenced by artists like John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen and the Judds, I think you'll find her music is a pleasant mix of country and classic rock and roll.
I Am Ready is Karin's second independent CD, recorded the summer of 2006 - with all new original music. It is currently receiving airplay around the USA and in Europe.
"Paparelli wastes no time in throwing herself into the Shania Twain styled opener "What God Looks Like". . .the big bold new country sound keeps the song chugging along. . . The quieter and more reflective numbers such as the Paparelli/Jackson duet "Loving Me Can't Be Easy" and the accomplished song of hope "One Life" tend to portray the singer in her best light. . .The highlight of the album is the blues-tinged "So Clearly" which fits Paparelli's vocal style perfectly and is aided by some delicious lead guitar from Jason Roller. Karen has bags of potential. . ." Reviewed by Lins Honeyman - Cross Rhythms UK.
Karin has performed before audiences both large and small - from community festivals and church events to Jones Beach Boardwalk and Riker’s Island Prison, and as far away as Europe and Africa! In Nashville, she can be found playing writer's nights around town and performing at local venues.

Cuts clean to the bone the true meaning of life.
author: Susan C. PerianoBoth lyric and music compositions are unique, distinctive in style and yet so simple in presentation it allows everyone from all ages and walks of life to benefit by it. The clarity of the vocals and the soft accompaniment lingers on long after the music has ended. After listening one feels privileged to have participated in such a genius undertaking.
Life-changing songs are included with this CD!
author: Jennifer AlmonThe songs in this CD are mainly about life experiences. I especially like the song "I Know What God Looks Like." The song truly hits on what a gracious and loving God we have. This is by far the finest work Karin has done. The songs have great rhythm and very inspiring words to them. Even my kids love the melodies and sing along. That makes it so much nicer when the whole family enjoys it.
