Paddy Reynolds was gifted with having the most beautiful sound in Irish music, ever. His fiddle music is legendary for its sweetness of tone, impeccable timing and unique personal style. Paddy's music is the soul of Ireland. We are very grateful that he brought it to America with him and became an icon in the New York fiddle world since the 1940's. God Bless Him.

"Paddy and I have been pals since the 1950s. I have fond memories of the weekly sessions we attended in the early years and of all the great music we've played together
since. I am delighted that the playing of such an outstanding musician is being honored in this way.
- Andy McGann
This project, recognizing the playing of Paddy Reynolds, is long overdue. Paddy was one of the finest Irish fiddle players of his or any generation, a man whose influence will be felt long into the future. For those who knew Paddy, I need not point out what a fine fiddle player he was, but for those who are not familiar with his work, this recording will be an essential addition to any music collection. As a traditional Irish fiddler myself, I consider it one of my great fortunes to have benefited from both the encouragement and constructive criticism of Mr. Reynolds during my formative years. I will never forget the chats we had about music during the breaks between dancing competitions in the early 1970's. I was a young man at the time but Paddy never talked down to me, but rather was always generous with his time and his knowledge regarding the tradition we both cherished. I am grateful to those who produced this CD so others can enjoy and appreciate the artistry of this great fiddler!

One of my all-time favorite CDs!
author: Ann RamseyI'm a fiddle player and love listening to this CD. It's great for learning tunes from, too. Paddy Reynolds is one of my favorite all-time Irish fiddlers. I wish I could have met him while he was alive.
