Mister Bad Luck is nothing short- PERIOD...
author: D.C. BordenLovers of GREAT music , are always looking for an artist who has IT. Look no further, OSCAR JORDAN has arrived....
Oscar Jordan is the Luke Cage of guitar.
author: John SchreimannOscar Jordan burns down the whole forest full of fuzzy animals in this public service announcement with guitar. Blues played with heroic, dexterous guitar work, without the buckled hat and bad attitude. Oscar Jordan, on Mister Bad Luck, serves up some sweet jams that are tastier than jelly. Oscar Jordan is the Luke Cage of guitar. He's the Luke Cage of life itself. And this is only from the sample clips. Maybe I'll buy it soon.
Tight, powerful, soulful, & sly
author: Gary GravinaSteps off with a pared-down stomp, and by the second or third song, you realize you've been met with first-rate blues chops and a sly, powerful voice that could effortlessly have made it without them. But sit tight, because this album gets better the further you follow. Bringing together elements of juke-joint blues, rock, and smokey jazz-blues, Jordan rewards the listener with an unstrained, graceful performance. Talented enough to lone wolf it, he instead pulls together small groups of musicians, each one adding something elemental, none overdoing it.
Affectionatly known as "proff", Jordan is one you must hear!
author: Joe"fro" SamuelsIf you ,listen to Mr. Jordan's "hay now baby" and don't immediately get up to dance then you have a serious hearing loss problem. This guy is strapped to a rocket heading for the stars! Original yet respectfull to the masters before him, Oscar Jordan displays a talent for the blues seldom seen in artist his age. He's a must hear "blusician". BUY IT and injoy the ride! Joel Samuels
