notes
The new refreshing sound of this dynamic young lady has arrived on the K.C. scene.
Oneida (Oneeda) is a singer of exceptional ability, creates her own style. She has a way of giving new insights to familiar tunes and making the audience feel close to tunes that are unfamiliar, with a lusty and sensitive interpretation of each song. As a highly impressive and respected songwriter, she has recorded several of her songs; previously with a group and now as a solo artist.
Oneida has performed for local fundraisers, and has received certificates of appreciation from numerous organizations; The Black Chamber of Commerce and The Federal Employment Council, to name a few. Oneida has performed as the "opening act" for Eddie Kendricks, (former lead singer of the Temptations) and Barbara Mandrell. She has also appeared in concert at the Midland Center for Performing Arts, Worlds of Fun, Seville Square at the Country Club Plaza, The Officers Club in Leavenworth, The Uptown Theatre in Kansas City, and Mr. V's Figure 8 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Oneida is becoming progressively popular and recognized for her fresh and charismatic sound that she generates through her love for music.
Oneida's immediate goal is to bring love and sensitivity into the hearts of music lovers everywhere, by singing her special blend of Jazz and smooth R & B.

author: Marcus- DallasI like your voice, you got an Anita Baker thang goin on there!! But the trax ain't doin you no justice, baby!! I don't know what it is....the sounds on the Keyboard sound generic or sumthin'....Your voice is on, though!
Lovely voice
author: Don Manor- CincinnatiOneida you have great vocal skills...I love your voice! all you need are some more up-to -date tracks (music); the synth & drum programming sounds like Keith Sweat's first record ( 80-ish) The lyrics are good though- you know how to tell a story. I would love to hear a project on you using a real drummer & live instrumentation, baby! But YOU got it going on....Fyne, too!(smile)
