notes
"LCV" is a psychedelic movie that weaves a multi-colored tapestry of dance, trance, mystical arts, and science on the digital loom of shamanic cybernetic consciousness. Just as deep as the symbol, so is its powerful message! Liquid Crystal Vision fuses the ancient and the future. It blends scenes of exotic places such as Ankor Wat, Goa, Laos, Japan, and others with superb graphics, sounds, performances, and channeled interviews. This mystical trip to the edges of reality presents dancing as one of the means to initiate a far-reaching personal evolution. It contrasts control versus freedom. During the 60 minutes play time the impact of the mystical arts movement on planetary consciousness is highlighted. Liquid Crystal Vision makes an artistic and political statement that leaves a strong imprint on the audience.
Watching this film triggers a deep psychological response that unchains inner truths. Its hallucinatory sights and sounds catapult viewers into cosmic spheres. LCV recognizes the principle of positive change: divine inspiration expresses itself on all levels of existence, often simultaneously! As a global peace prayer the film presents all religious symbols equally in its deliciously visionary story line.
Filmmakers Billy Rood and Torsten Klimmer have talked for several years about making an extraordinary film. It did not happen until Billy's house was transformed into Liquid Crystal Studios, and Torsten received a vision to begin working on that film. For two years Omananda traveled around the world, filming images of sacred sites and interviewing people with mystical insights. What needed to reveal itself was channeled in those interviews and graphically enhanced through Billy's magical touch (amazing 3-D computer animation!

author: JoePsychedelic visions in digital form, a trip on a disc. The art of Omananda and Tantric never fail to be spectacular. Combined with words from some of the greats of the psychedelic world this film creates a mind-expanding experience, without the use of anything but our very own minds!
As you breath in, and in and in,space and time change

The type of work that needs to be supported
author: StevaloI agree with Ronster. Although I watched the DVD for free at the Liquid Crystal Vision web site, I bought a copy to support work like this. Also it is nice to have it in high resolution. I hope to find more of this type of insightful art/work in the future.
Excellent perspective on the Techno scene ..
author: AethI had high hopes for this CD, and my anticipation was met fairly well. I have been a great fan of the "Lucky people Center: International" documentary and was advised by a friend to check out this DVD. Well, it is fairly similar but focused on the Techno scene. If you like a lot of computer graphics and animations, if you like Goa and Trance, if you want to meet some of the more interesting personalities behind some of the music and behind the scene, then this is a DVD for you. It takes you around the world, from parties to sacred places, from political activists to Bramas, from raw footage to digital animations. All in all an excellent picture of what the Techno scene was and has become.
Serious food for thought. Highly recommended
author: Jimi Fritz. www.raveculture.cjb.netThis DVD is a mind blowing journey into alternative thought and culture. Highly entertaining and informative with great visuals. Worth every cent. Buy it.
Astounding, Wonderful, RARE & a obvious choice in the dvd-collection
author: Kristoffer LarssonThis is the greatest DVD i own! A lovely view into this 'underground' scene - that has the most wonderful view of living our lifes. A blending mix of complex, psychedelic and creative colour patterns, good interviews, and awesome music. And i really liked the Bonus Video with the Swedish Psytrance artist 'Atmos', as i'm from Sweden myself :). The only downfall it that the voices might sound bad sometimes, like a bit disturbed.. So sometimes it's hard to actually hear what they say. But thats not a common issue. The music and the mix is absolutely fine both soundwise and atmospheric.. Lovely choice of tracks on this DVD!!!! (too bad the master genius Simon Posford didn't talk more in the interviews) Greetings to CD Baby too! received the DVD quickly and in absolutely perfect shape. Also thanks for letting buyers pay via PayPal!
absolutely fantastic insight into the psychedelic genre
author: funkyronsterThis DVD combines documentary, interview, music and cutting edge graphics, and gives a fascinating insight into not only the world of psychedic trance music, but also into the underlying philosophy. If you are into the scene already then you will watch this and wonder at just how big the scene is, and you will feel much more part of the global movement. If you are not into the scene, but curious.....then look no further. This is no back studio production - you see and hear from major names in the psychedelic movement, and boy do they talk sense. Many will have heard of Raja Ram ....... but have you ever heard him speak? And he is just one of several leading figures to contribute to this work. If you have got this far - just buy it.......and don't copy it......works like this MUST be supported. Thanks Omananda!
