notes
Olga's breathtaking voice and majestic songwriting are just two reasons why this emerging artist continues to stand out. Olga brings a soulful and luminous feel to the music she creates - captivating and entrancing any audience. Her powerful vocals and beautiful music represent an emotional honesty that is truly rare.
Although difficult to categorize Olga's music, she has a sound reminiscent of Mazzy Star with a touch of Fiona Apple. Olga's music ranges from alternative rock to folk and blues naming PJ Harvey, Cat Power, Portishead, and Radiohead as influences.
Olga spent her childhood in various parts of the Midwest, but life would eventually take her to Southern California. She attended UC Irvine and graduated with a psychology degree. It was only after college when Olga experienced the passions and pursuits that pushed her to pick up the guitar and sing. A self-taught artist, Olga's natural talent surfaced. It would still be a few years however before Olga would play for an audience.
Olga ended up moving to San Francisco for graduate school and we're glad she did. We don't know whether it was the fog on the bay or the creative spirits she mingled with, but Olga's songwriting truly exploded. At a San Francisco open mic, Olga finally let her brilliant voice break through for all to hear. She has since performed at venues all over the Bay Area and her popularity continues to grow.
Olga's debut album, Pale Light, features songs and lyrics that resonate. Ranging from rocking tunes to melancholic songs, Olga's music is haunting, passionate, and earnest-this new artist is guaranteed to move you.

Great Songwriting - Amazing Voice
author: Kathy RushmorePale Light is the synergistic display of a great songwriter with an amazing voice. Memorable melodies and insightful lyrics have never sounded so sweet. My favorite songs (if you can pick) are "Silently" and "Blue Sky" but there is plenty here for all eclectic palates.
Better and better
author: MoffayAfter her first two CDs I thought she was getting better. The second of her first two CDs made a good friend cry she put so much feeling into her songs. Pale light is by far her best effort to date. I didn’t think her music would have as much power with a full band, but I was wrong. She just keeps getting better and better. She is becoming a truly great musician. My favorite songs: Drops of Rain and Bathing light.
haunting, saturating, abolutely lovely...
author: Sparlha SwaPale Light dawns slowly but steadily on your pleasure center, till, unwittingly, you find yourself halfway through the CD in an awe-filling and sensuous aural rapture. You'd never think this was a debut CD for the quality, maturity and breadth of musicianship here demonstrated. Olga's Pale Light is haunting, saturating, absolutely lovely...
