OBP is: out of boston productions. based in atlanta, GA u.s.a... but not your typical dirty south hip hop. this is fun hip hop, funky hip hop, fundamentally sound hip hop. as seen doing shows around the ATL and as heard on cartoon network's [adult swim] and as known in smaller circles of hip hop heads around the country this is the real deal.
some cds you think are hot for a certain amount of time... but "deuce" will be just as solid in 10 years as it is right now because the material on there isn't trendy music.
2 emcees who have been into the music since the "golden era" and over 16 beats that reflect the fact that these kids care about the music as much as the lyrics that are over it.

author: TR808This is the kind of cd that gets better each time you play it. Simmer Down Now is my favorite and so is Drop a Deuce on 'Em. I heard that they were on Adult Swim so i copped this disk and I am glad I did.

author: frank 151I saw these guys in Atlanta live, it was dope! FT is amazing, great voice. Jesster not only rhymes, he's slick on the turntables too. This CD is very witty, dope samples, funny, motivating, laid back, just all of the above. SIMMER DOWN IS THE BOMB FOR REAL!!!!! I love HONEY and REMEMBER too, CONFESS IN STEREO is hilarious. These guys should be bigger than they are. True underground hereos, check it out, they're dope.
