    Soul's Aflame is a great cd because it's the Cd that really set the bar for O.A.R. I feel Home, So moved on, To Zion goes I, and many more are what make this Cd so good. Plus the addition of Jerry Depizzo, a.k.a. the Saxophone Man. Anyone lookin' for good music to chill to, or to rock the fuckin' place down, pick up some O.A.R.

    Seriosly O.A.R is the greatest band. I was at my 6th concert of theres last week at Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ and they were rockin! I was sooo into it! and they played a great amount of old and new songs. I honeslty prefer the old bc it is who they truly are... love them and so should you! In Between Now and Then is a good NOn- live cd of theirs. Other than that the live cds are the best. Oarsa.org also has all there set lists and thats a great site to download concerts of O.A.R

    OAR is by far my favorite band. You can listen to any one of their CD's any day of the week. And every time it gets better. I own all of their CD's and have been listening to them for nearly 5 years. They never get old. Thanks God for giving them the inspiration so many of us lack. The messages are uplifting and personal despite having never met the band. They have a way of personalizing the impersonal, they make music any person can relate to. Thank you OAR and CD baby, proof that some sort of GOD does exist.

    Very few artists in my opinion can release a disc that can be played from beginning to end and enjoyed all the way through. O.A.R. is definately one of them and their Souls Aflame is just another piece evidence that they have musical talent and staying power. With their funky guitars, dancable melodies, and the smooth vocals of lead singer, Marc Roberge, Souls Aflame is a winner. Check out the track I Feel Home, its my personal favorite tribute to everyone's "original crew."

    I first heard or when I was down at BGSU. I only heard a couple of songs but they were so ingrained in my head I had to buy the cd for myself. I had a hell of a time finding a place to get my hands on their stuff but it was well worth the wait. I now own all three of their cds and constantly download any live stuff I can find.     This is one of the greatest cd's in my collection and I have alot. I have been an OAR fan for acouple years now but just recently got into them alot. This is an awsome cd and it has many great songs, like "So Moved On", "When Can I Go Home?", and of course "Untitled", even though I think the version on Risen is better, this is where it started. Those songs are timeless and will always be great. I would definitly be into an OAR live album and I wonder why it hasn't happened yet. I have been to acouple of shows and I would love to be able to relive the `live` experience any time I want. This is one of the best bands out there now and will be for quite some time. Get this CD.

    This is a wonderfulicious cd. I own all three of their cd's, and love them all. and not that one is my favorite, but Soul's aflame has two absolutley amazing songs. 'City on Down' and 'Untitled' are two of the best songs I have ever heard. Although I've only been to one show, these guys are AWESOME live. Songs like 'Delicate Few' (off of Risen) and Untitled go on forever. These guys should definatly put out a live album, I'd be all about that. O.A.R.'s truly an awesome band, if you have any doubts about which one to buy, get all three!! you won't be dissapointed.

    OAR is an awesome band and this C.D. is about as good as it gets. It has an island beat, reggae style, amazing guitar solo, and a casual flow. I love every song and I love being able to kick back, put the C.D. in and not have to worry about skipping over a song. It's great.

    Souls Aflame is great. This cd is probably one of the best sophmore albums by any band ever. If you like upbeat tempo listen to CIty On Down,Wanderer or Hey Girl. If you are looking for a song just to listen to to get you in the mood listen to my favorite Night Shift. And if you are looking for a song to chill to, just listen to I Feel Home. All in All this cd is up there with ones like the Deads - Skeletons in the Closet and DMBs Under the Tabe and Dreaming. I highly recomend this album!

    This is the best cd i've ever gotten. I've never bought a cd that i can listen to all the way through and not skip tracks. I've had Souls Aflame for about 3 months, i listen to it about 3 to 4 times a week and i haven't gotten sick of it.     O.A.R. is not a DMB of the future, DMB is a terrible teeny boppy band and if they have a succesor it is sekking homer whose music actually sounds like DMB's, O.A.R. right now is just a soft folk rock band who have grown slightly the past year in terms of musical talent and spectrum. They are still trying to grow up to the likes of Strangefolk and String Cheese Incident. They are a very good band though but stop calling them the next DMB because DMB sucks and O.A.R. sounds nothing like them

    This CD is a definite Classic - and not only something that the "college kids" listen to but a CD that only speaks minimally of their awesome talent. If you come to the University of Dayton Ghetto you will not be disappointed with the fans - you guys can be heard through the ghetto every night and to have you come there would be AWESOME! The lead singers voice is average at best, the chords are easy to play and all their songs sound the same.     This CD kicks serious ass...at any point while walking down the floors of my dorm it is alwasy heard and one can not help but to go into that room and start singing along. That is how great it is, and the CD has been burned so many times, the entire building is always jumping. It creates not only a great dancing scene, but everyone is also in the best mood and not afraid to join in the sing-along. It will definately alwasy be a favroite of mine.

    O.A.R. is a great band, and they are going to be huge when they do sign a record contract...this is definitely one of the best cd's I own, however, I don't think they are in any way comparable to Sublime? A few reviewers have said they are the next Sublime? They sound nothing like Sublime...and I don't think they are quite that good...yet.

    My friend got me hooked about a year ago on "Crazy Game Of Poker" and ever since I've followed them. "Souls Aflame" is easily one of the best albums I have ever bought. All the songs have a way of instantly putting you in a good mood. City On Down and Untitled are two of the best songs on the album. By the way, if you have the chance to see O.A.R. live, definitely do it because I saw a sold out show at Peabody's in Cleveland and they are ten times better live than on the cd.

    OAR's Sophomore realease Souls Aflame sets you in the mood for great music. The first track "City on Down" tells you just how much the band has progressed from The Wanderer days. The CD is better than teh Wanderer for many reasons. First, (and i know this might not sound right), but it doesn't have any songs like "...Crazy Game of Poker". The songs on this album have not grown as widely popular and I think it is a better album overall. The way the lyrics and music blend together into a funky island-rock blues jam is outstanding. Now i have seen OAR live and this is the closest they have come to their live shows. That is why the album deserves 5 stars!!!!!!!!

I had never heard of them until I came to Miami University... and now I can't get enough.     I really loved "That Was A Crazy Game of Poker" but was skeptical about buying their new CD for fear that it wouldn't compare to the one song everybody associates them with. OARs lyrics, music & entire persona is completely different & much much better than Sublime...and you can see this by getting their 2nd CD... it is a great follow up from THE WANDERER. I think I know why 'Revolution' is in their name now, because they are going to revolutionize what we all hear on mtv and the radio pretty soon.
