Real Name: Nathan Nyirenda
Age: 27 years
Marital Status: Single
This young man can certainly be described as one of Mondo Music Corporation's intelligent, sharp, confident and highly talented artists. Nathan is usually cool, calm and collected. He radiates a disposition of humility and maturity and yet strikes an eccentric sense of humour.
Family and Educational Background:
3rd born in the family of three with two sisters. He did his primary school at Danford Chirwa and Broadway primary schools in Kabwe. He then went to Hillcrest Technical School where he did his secondary school. He then did his tertiary school at Copperbelt University, Zambia Centre for Accountancy and Mega- Size Business and Computer College.
Musical Background:
"I started singing when I was very young, actually I became a worship leader at the age of 16. Whilst at secondary school I became Music Director for Hillcrest Scripture Union as well as Chi-Alpha fellowship at The Copperbelt University."
He started playing the keyboard in 1998. His debut album was released in 2000 and he called it 'Mwe Lesa' (My God). One of the songs on the album became a smash hit and was Number 1 on The Radio Christian Voice Station for more than 12 weeks. "I started producing music in 2001. Since then I have worked with several Church bands".
He has produced played and sang in 'The Paintings Of Us' album for the Go Centre Girls Campaign, a Ministry Of Education/UNICEF Project. He has also featured in Mutamula Mwale's 'I Love Zambia' which also features Maureen Lilanda.
Nathan has had live performances in Zambia, Botswana, South Africa and USA.
