The New Riverside Ramblers band brings top-notch Cajun dance music from the prairies and bayous of south Louisiana up the Mississippi River to the Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minnesota area. The members of the band have been immersed in Cajun music for over 15 years, and have studied and performed with some of the greatest names in the music.

The band's debut CD, Saute la Barrière, contains a generous helping of high-energy Cajun dance music. Some of the cuts are Cajun dance-hall standards that you know and love; some are more recent, but ALL are played with flair and enthusiasm.

Here's what they're saying about the band and their 1st CD:

"The NEW RIVERSIDE RAMBLERS is one of the best traditional Cajun music bands outside of Louisiana. Perhaps one of the best traditional Cajun music bands in Cajun music today....If I did not know better, I would think they were from Kaplan and Mamou! "
- Pete Bergeron, KRVS radio, Lafayette, Louisiana.

"The overall band sound is great, with good time. Kudos on the fiddling and on Bob's smooth très effective button bounces - some of the best."
- Tracy Schwarz, Cox's Mill, West Virginia.

"I'd gladly hitch-hike to Minneapolis to play with them."
- Marc Savoy, Eunice, Louisiana.

"I just listened to Jump the Fence...you guys sound great on there!! I gotta tell ya ... just knocked me out ... totally AWESOME!!!!"
- Al Berard, Cecelia, Louisiana
