The Necronomicon is a legendary book of shadows said to have been written in 730 A.D. by the Mad Arab, Abdul Alhazred. The sinister book of shadows is said to contain arcane knowledge of the Elder Gods, the ancient lords of darkness that held dominion over the Earth aeons ago.
