notes
It has arrived! The Real Rock 'n Roll Deal! This is primal, archetypal, balls out rock that just does not let up for one split second and whose big beats and and raucous hooks will change and inspire air-guitar wrestling matches. Filled with high-energy kicks, blistering guitar flash, arena-ready anthems, unforgettable hooks and catchy fist-pumpers----this is the barn-burner and five-geared raver that fans have been waiting for. And a breathless, potent cocktail for new ones. "Salutes vintage Britrock with a run of fuzzy melodies, guitar crunch and irrepressible spirit...4 stars"-Blender. As always, filled with highly accomplished and inspired approximations of such sounds as The Who and The Move and a host of other pantheon-chiseled rock gods, all dressed up to party with The Shazam. A party only The Shazam can host properly and with clear control of their own voice.
A savior, a hand of grace from rock 'n roll heaven has extended earthward and delivered us all The Shazam. You count on it - this time next year, your friends will know of the power and glory that is "The Shazam". "The ultimate post-modern 70's hard rock party album...the band spikes their dixie fried Cheap Trick and The Move moves with some Faces and Rolling Stones bluesy swagger and the songs have a swinging feel that is new for the band. What is not new, and thankfully unchanged, is that they can knock off great melodies one right after the other, and the crunch is leavened with a few pop nuggets and one spectacular ballad. One of 2002's Top 10"- Mike Bennett, Fufkin.com.

These guys just flat out rock my world
author: Tom MIncredible hooks, incredible vocals, wonderful and occasionally snarky lyrics, The Shazam are far and away my favorite pop band you've never heard of. Think Cheap Trick and The Sweet rolled into one, imagine how good that would be--this is better than that!
Awesome CD
author: JasonI can't praise this CD enough. I haven't heard their other stuff-but if it's a tenth as good as this album-then rock is in good shape afterall. 'Tomorrow the World' may not be very 'cutting edge'in fact, it's a pretty straight forward rock album. It's all here-rockin' out, getting high, fucked up youths...but I personally don't need anything more complicated! The vocals are excellent, and music is phenomenal. I can't wait to dive into the bands other CD's
