notes
Jack Norton and the Mullet River Boys are proud to announce the release of "Bound For Glory", a collection of bluegrass gospel and mountain hymns from the vaudeville era. From the swingin' jazz of "Are You Ready For A Miracle" to the high-lonesome sound of "The Baptism Of Jesse Taylor", this collection has a little something for everyone...including classics like "Amazing Grace", and a beautiful version of Bob Dylan's "Every Grain Of Sand". Recorded at the legendary Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, "Bound for Glory" is a great collection inspired by classic country, bluegrass and ragtime jazz.

author: jamesVery nice collection of old standards, performed with clarity and personality. Especially good version of Every Grain of Sand.
One of the best albums I own!
author: RichardThis is one of the best albums I own, seriously. There is a great deal of variety within each track but overall it is a great listen. It's a "gospel" record but not "preachy"...just great songs, amazing performances, and wonderful overall. Highly recommended!
