notes
Here it is! The superb new album from the UK Hard Rock Power Trio - NO CONNECTION.
Recorded during 2003 at Connexion Studios in Reading, England, the third album from the band is their best yet. The new disc displays their quality song writing and musical abilities at their finest.
A perfect demonstration of how to bring the Classic Rock of the 1970's into the new Millennium.
Track listing:
1. Going Down
Kicking opening track. A hypnotic, hard-edged, sexy number with a sting in its tail.
2. Deal With It
Not on the album of the same name, but the title prepares you for a song with attitude!
3. Living American
'In You Face' Americana tune. Fun and punky with its tongue firmly wedged in its cheek.
4. I Don't Listen
White boy/black girl. Why listen to ignorance? Just get down to this soulful disco magic.
5. Long Way Down
Begins in the cotton fields of the 1920's. Ends in the world of today. Any real change?
6. Fading Away
It's over. You don't know why and you can't stop the way you feel. Plenty of melody and soul.
7. Love To Hate To Love
Title track. This Rock monster doesn't take any prisoners.
8. Sweet Sugar O.D.
Beautiful women and high calorie foods. A fantastic heart-stopping combination!
9. Strive
Led Zep feel with the kind of grit and determination Rocky Balboa would be proud of.
10. Too Good
Thoughtful, reflective jazz/blues number asking a painful question.
11. Cheap Talkin'
Actions always speak louder than words. This song reminds those who don't realize.
12. Nothing To Lose
You only live once, so forget your hang-ups and have some fun to some great rock'n'roll.

Rockin' and rollin'! No Connection is a great trio of rockers!
author: Les IngramThese guys sound great! They make us feel young again. I highly recommend Love To Hate To Love for anyone who enjoys old-style, good rock 'n' roll! My kids were playing a demo of the Xbox game "Flat Out" and I bought the album just to get the title track--it's great! Keep on rockin', No Connection, and we will, too! As a member of the USAF stationed in the UK, it's great to hear good, talented musicians making tunes that aren't incoherent. Well done!
fine rocking disc
