Starlight Beats and Breaks recording artist Karina Nistal has been rapidly gaining popularity as well as a legion of fans throughout the South, Mid-West and the UK over the past several months with her sexy, unique and bouncy electro-Latin style, conscious message and warm and super energetic stage presence. Cuban-Mexican American born and growing up around local hip hop crews in her hometown of Houston, Texas, Karina developed a sincere positive urban mentality that stands out in her performances. Currently on tour with the kings of Dancehall and Latin-break throw-downs, The Rebel Crew Sound System in support of her brand new album entitled, Karina Nistal shows much promise for the future of Latin and English dance music and definitely adds another hype twist to the entire global urban music scene as a whole.

BIO: Karina Nistal is known to align herself with diverse and solid collaborations to showcase her extensive range. Her work consists of emotive jazz vocals on downtempo tracks, rapping in Spanish for the worldly sounds of reggaeton, or fusing soulful Latin vocals with lively dance music. But most significantly, it is a vibrant charisma that carries over her poetic musings in either English or Spanish and her matter of fact delivery of self-assured flirtatious rhymes.

    Do not ask me to pin point any specific songs cuz that is not possible. The way that the vocals are married to tha beats is lovely, or as my homeboy said EVIL!! they mesh so well together, it is difficult to distinguish where one ends and the other begins. her voice and the lyrics are as melodic as the flow of tha music and the music speaks to you as if it was lyrical. yup 3months is a record in my cd changer with no removal in the immediate future!!

    The best album I've heard this year is NISTYLE! 69 minutes of freshness. Something refreshing for everyone to vibe with. Where to start? Viviendo gets the album started with a bang. Karina lets you know shes not to be played with as she scorches this track with an effortless flow. La Fuente de Juventud is an all around eclectic song. For those old groovin soothin souls, you have a classic sound that blows me away that opens and closes this track...and Karina rides this beat like a bike! INTRIGUE INTRIGUE INTRIGUE! This song is so damn real I can feel it. Like most of her music you can't categorize it. You're just moved by the message. This man in her dreams is one lucky mofo...oh to be a statue would be great! Seriously all yall dudes better proceed with CAUTION! Message heard loud and clear...if you're dumb enough to step on this diva's toes you will be dealt with. BTW while lots of people were snap dancing and eating chicken noodle soup Karina Nistal was working it like only she can. Trabajalo is an infectious tune with a clever sensual dance for all the ladies to groove to. SOLIDO! OMG you will definately want to get it started with Karina on this one. The girl is so powerful! BACK TO BOMBAY has one of the sickest beats EVER! You can absolutely not keep still when this song comes on. This song is so versatile and pretty much symbolizes Karina Nistal. She has all of the talent in the world. She can sing and harmonize like an angel...but thats not all. There is no genre of music she can't cover. Her influences are so vast. The talent is obvious. Most musicians who try to cover a wide spectrum of music fail because they end up showing a weakness in certain areas. Not Ms. Karina! She can hold it down. So step up and come get you some NISTYLE! I know I did. Get one for the car, one for the crib, and one that you never open. NISTYLE is a CLASSIC! Encore please! I need more. I could've written a book and went into a more in depth breakdown musically but you all get the point. Respect the Real!

    This cd is one of the best I have heard all year and there hasn't been many. She hit the nail on the head with Caution!!! This is one that you will be able to groove to the whole way through without hitting fast forward.....better yet you will be hitting rewind to hear the track again! A MUST BUY!!!

    Listeners this is one of those CD's that you can't stop listening to. It's one of those where you can listen to every song and not press that next button. Karina's style is unique so you won't get bored of it. I give it five stars... no thinking twice about that. Love it!!!

    I am absolutely in love with this CD. It has a great beat that I can jam to in my car, on my i-pod at the gym, or on the dance floor. I don't even speak spanish so I don't understand much of what Karina is singing but I still love the beat. Karina has such a great voice. I just got the CD Friday and I've listened to it about 20 times. No kidding! Go out, get this CD now, and see for yourself.

    Nistyle is a wickedly created fresh record that brings a perfect mixture of Latin-Electro Pop heavily influenced by Hip Hop music. It begins with a journey into funky-mellow Latin vibes. The first song that grabs you with a fury is "Intrigue". It is probably one of the best songs off the album. The catchy synths and haunting bass lines immediately hook you into Karina's magical world. Karina polishes off the song by showcasing how a diva is supposed to do it with great melodies and poetic verses. "Solido" is my morning coffee when I need to wake the hell up. The production is too hot and will make you want to jump up and hit up an afterhours. Then...the next song comes on...and you're dazzled by the 2-Step grooves with Karina's distinguished sound! The atmosphere morphs into a sensual groove reminiscent of a chilly summer breeze. Once you discover the song "Samba Love" you're love is certified official. Bottom line....if you want to hear some fresh music that will make your brain tingle and dance through every mood under the moon...COP THIS ALBUM. MbX

    When Nistyle says "Trabajalo" she's not kidding...Ladies you will work it when you hear this album!!! Also, the album was blessed by my 6 yr old son SCORPIO...Ooooowwweeee...what else can I say? He's tremendously talented already! And thanks to my Baby daddy's ear and flavor along with our Boy Lenky... well there ain't no stoppin this Album or this CREW!! The latina Karina Nistal is HOT...PERIOD!!!

    You don't have to be a Latin music fan to enjoy Karina Nistal's electropaella of dancehall beats, reggaeton zest, hip-hop bravado and jazz infused soul. Each song on her latest, "Nistyle", has something for everyone. On the album, Nistal explores every genre with a relentless verve then dashes the beat to put her own stamp on things. For example, "La Fuente de Juventud" showcases her Latin roots, but instead of sampling the staid salsa rhythm, she replaces it with a chunky bass-driven beat. However beats aren't the only thing Nistal's got going. Starlight Beats and Breaks know talent when they see it and cuts like, "Viviendo", with its lush tambourine are the perfect backdrop for her enigmatic rapping style. The album reflects her diversified range- "Miss You" is two-step garage at its finest along with her soulful, jazz-tinged voice and when she yearns for a lover on "Back to Bombay" you cant help but wonder why the guy ever left.
