NINJA CUTTY MUSICAL BIOGRAPHY

Sean Anthony a.k.a. Ninja Cutty was born in Mandeville Jamaica. He moved to Bermuda when he was ten years old. At seventeen he performed at "Bermuda Sting" his first international show, opening for reggae greats Bounty Killa, Yellow man, Coco Tea, Gregory Isaacs, Junior Reid.

From 1994 to 1995 Ninja Cutty honed his lyrical skill by performing with the Bermuda based sound system "African Pride. He eventually left the group to pursue his solo career and in 1996 won a trophy for "Best Deejay style" at a competition in Atlanta. 1997 was a busy year for Ninja Cutty He opened for Beenie Man at a concert held at the Clearwater Beach in Bermuda and then opened for Sean Paul. Later that same year he was the featured attraction alongside Main St. Crew when they performed in Bermuda.

Success continued in 1998 when Ninja Cutty joined Frisco Kid, Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens and others in the biggest show to touch down in Bermuda. This was the year when Ninja Cutty also linked up with promoters Dread and Baha productions. He did his first Dread & Baha show at Pontoons Beach in Bermuda as a featured artist sharing the billing with Red Rat & Goofy, General Degree and Hawkeye.

His second show for D&B was Ninja Cutty's first show in his native Jamaica. Entitled "Reggae Kings In Action 2000" the show held at Pier One in Montego Bay featured such reggae icons as Josey Wales, Charlie Chaplin, Yami Bolo, Luciano, Bunny Wailer to name a few. The show was repeated in Bermuda with great success. In 2001 Ninja Cutty was invited back to Jamaica this time to perform on International Night at the world renowned Reggae Sumfest. There he shared billing with Damien Marley, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keyes, Shaggy, Freddy McGregor and more. He returned home to Bermuda to perform with Leroy Sibbles, Uroy and Glen Washington at the annual Culture Shock.

In 2002 Ninja Cutty went back to Jamaica again this time to perform at Rebel Salute with Ras Giorgis another Bermuda based artist. Their performance received an encore. Since 2002 Ninja Cutty has been working on his debut album and is concentrating on recording music for the world. Recently he was invited and performed at the annual R.A.W. (Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide) and in December 2003 was invited and performed at the United Nations Headquarters in New York supporting the struggle for worldwide peace and tolerance.
