notes

Never*Mind’s pop/punk/rock sound has been captivating audiences for 5 years. Composed of Brett Lee (bass/vocals), Tom Forster (guitar) and Burton Kelly (drums) their upbeat tempos and positive messages set them apart from much of the mainstream. Never*Mind is quickly becoming a staple in their home Las Vegas music scene, after spending time in Utah and Arizona. It was in Utah they were featured several times on live television (with a FOX News interview and at BMX Competitions).

They have been highlighted twice as one of Utah's top ten best punk bands- and asked to join their adjoining compilation cd "Something Local". In Nevada Never*Mind is on year three of the annual NEVER*MIND THE NOISE MUSIC FESTIVAL featuring bands from NV, AZ, UT, CA, and CO. If any band were to show passion and dedication it is Never*Mind. While they have many accomplishments to their name, they have also had their share of downfalls. They continue to press forward, touring the western United States and releasing their first EP entitled “Something Drastic” in October 2007. Every crowd that goes out to see them perform will take notice that what sets them apart is their live shows.

Never*Mind’s song “Not Forgotten” is featured in the movie Take A Chance, from Halestorm Entertainment. You can buy the movie and soundtrack from Halestorm Entertainment.

These guys popped onto my radar when a friend gave me their CD - which I can't stop listening to. So many different elements, which hit you in so many places and mindframes. Heard their live shows are awesome (If you're reading this, guys, please DON'T skip San Fran on your next tour!!! ) Totally recommend this CD, and can't wait for more.

I saw these guys in Portland, OR, with no idea what I was getting into...and all I could think was, "How have I never heard these guys before?!" Course there's nothing like a live show, so I'm stoked to find their album rocks. They're kind of addictive, passionate in a weird, rock way. Been listening to it nonstop, and I'm still not tired. Yeah. Good shtuff...when's the next album?!

I attended the Never Mind show in St George Utah last month at the Electric Theater. They have a very strong bond with the crowd instantly, They are without a doubt a new sound with Pop! I was shocked at how much sound came from a three piece band and only one singing! The CD is fantastic, only five songs but with a wide variaty of sound. Its one of those you have to listen to again and again. I like "The Red Carpet Event".... it has a completly new beat and sound that sucks you in and it rolls around in your head all day. Its simply an awsome piece for such a small new group. I highly recommend that you grab a CD, it will be in your player for a long time! Highly Impressed with this bunch.
