notes
Neomythic legitimizes the groove phenomena with its stellar offering of innovative, highly personal song writing and transcendent vocals by Omega.
Imagine the warmth of Miriam Makeeba backed by Miles Davis' Electric band produced by Brian Eno, and you'll start to get the picture.
Neomythic spins a web of shimmering sonic strands with electric Trumpet and Sax, Fender Rhodes, synths and samples that frame Omega's warm alto in the most unusual and beautiful manner.
Neomythic has remained true to its pursuit of a satisfying and soulful musical experience. The Neomythic sound encompasses the more energetic elements of jazz improvisation and composition with a respectful ear for the fundamentals of popular music and a healthy taste for sonic experimentation.
Expect great production, excellent musicianship and unique, sophisticated sounds from this CD.

CD Baby delivers great music for people who are looking for new and interesting music. I was very pleased with this find! It is soulful and transcendent music. (rare mix) Loved this cd because it is different than all the crap that is played on the radio.
this cd may be little in the middle, bit it has much "back"
author: Dj Alberthow many times have you been lying down in the shower hyperventillating from a fetal position, experienceing a nervous-breakdown that doctors attribute to a "vitamin deficiency"?? well, if you're anything like myself, your answer is "countless".... but alas, i digress; regardles of your chemical balance (or lack there of) if you appreciate 60 minutes of delightful trip-hop over toast and bacon in the morning or while toking up in your basement unbeknownst to your sleeping parents, neomythic is a great booster of self-confidence. "phatty-boombatty" drum tracks keep the electronic musings of intergalatic pop-synth in line through a trip down that little stretch of highway between time and space that physicists call the "plausible innerscopic demension of perception" but don't take my word for it, listen for yourselves and come to similar conclusions all by your lonesome... boo-yeah!
