Built around the context of rhythm and melody, N.C.Skolrud created riffs and beats, writings and feelings to make the material for "Chipmunk & Horse", his first album release to date. The basis of the album revolves around two very significant animals to the artist's life, and loved one's deaths. With the help of a few friends and acquantances, these songs pack the sound of a very unique and abstract sense of sound.
N.C.Skolrud spent the past two years creating this album, and learned a menagerie of instruments that seek to capture every sonic nuance of each emotion portrayed. Self produced and recorded, this songwriter takes creation to several different levels. So take his hand and come along on a journey through the jungle of sonic bliss and serene soundscapes...

the album seemed intuitive and very eccentric.. something i enjoy listening to, but it took me awhile to really fall in love with this... very smart, yet takes a search to find it's true sense
