notes

The Musical Sea Series combines soothing, uninterrupted sounds of Nature with relaxing music. Peaceful, uncomplicated melodies orchestrate with the comforting sounds of the sea and encourage your mind to wander as you drift into a deep state of relaxation.

Each recording runs at least one continuous hour, and sounds are never "looped." Track placement provides easy access to different movements.

Yachats, pronounced YAH-hots, originates from the Chinook Indian word, "Yahuts," meaning "dark water at the foot of the mountain." Charles, who has enjoyed great success with his "Moments of Peace" catalog and has spent many years on the Oregon Coast, is a natural choice to accompany the sounds of Yachats. We are proud to feature this Northwest treasure in the first of our series.

Again, as with all of Sharles' pieces, another supurb, moment of peace. The music is inspirational and the music this artist gives to us is beautiful. I recently gave this CD as a gift for my mother who lives in California and she is now a "Moments of Peace" enthusiast, too!

I loved it, of course, as I do all of Charles Suniga's CD. I play them all the time. What a wonderful artist.

Have just ordered this CD for a friend. It seems so relaxing and peaceful. I hve been able to hear Charles live at at couple of banquet performances and hated for the evenings to end. The CDs I have are wonderful. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. C. Lamberty Philomath Or

  • Absolutely Wonderful
    author: Karen

This one is truly relaxing, soothing but never, ever boring. Plus, it's a trip back to the sounds of the sea that fed my soul while growing up and living in the Puget Sound/Seattle area for 40+ years. I did not grow up with technology howeve. How are those people sending this music with their e-mails?

  • wonderful and magical
    author: Maggie

The music has a magic all its own. The most tangled strings of your soul begin to soften and melt into place as the piano plays on. It is truly a relaxing and magical experience. One of the few pieces of music that is as good for one as it is for two!

  • Absolutely Beautiful! I fall asleep each night listening to this CD!
    author: Mada Anderson

I grew up on the Georgia coast and have never lost my love for the beautiful and soothing sounds of ocean surf. There was an email in my box one day that had The Musical Sea, by Suniga, as the background music. I looked at the website and found that particular piece. Not knowing how to order on-line (I am over 65 yrs. old so that is not one of the things I have learned), I asked my neice to order it for me. She did, you sent it to her, she sent it to me, it sent me into another world as I listened to the sound of the surf combined with beautiful music. I would love to have other CDs that Suniga has recorded with nature sounds. I will ask my niece to order again for me. Thank you.

I love this composer! I heard him on a Christmas email video, then found his website. If you love piano and ocean compositions, check this one out!

  • I felt like I was laying on a soft beach and hearing heaven
    author: Carol Slaugh

For anyone experiencing stress, this is got to be the best therapy. The sounds of the piano mimick the waves in such a way to relax your mind and body. I love the ocean even more now after hearing this CD
