They begin in 1992 as a metal band in Medellin, Colombia that comes from Underground scene and 2 releases at press time.
In 1992, they published a demo tape with 6 songs produced by them. In 1998, they have a deal with LIXO Sonido + Discos to produce A Short Story a CD recorded in Ensemble Midi-Track, Medellin and Mastered at Nu-Media Productions in Los Angeles, California.
So, thinking in the international arena the band goes to recording studio at eve 1999 to produce From Deep inside…11 songs with a new singer that define the band in a better lyric way to express new sensations and ideas that band members want to say with this album. Therefore, this maturated sound keep aggressive with a new style found that combine the classic metal with Latin feel voices facing a new power metal.

"Murder, band from Colombia plays powerful metal.
From Deep Inside album is compound of 11 song, most of them are written in Spanish. Murder shows various influences, from Death to Heavy metal. The singing is typically Power metal, but we also hear some death grows passages. The songs are well structured, and the guitar solos are not very complex but efficient. Several accoustic passages break the metal rythm and reinforce the originality of the compositions. The production is good but the sound lacks more personality. Anyway, here is a very reliable record, well interpreted and in the tradition of the best power metal bands."

    This is Colombian metal. Yes, good music also is done. This record is an example. M-U-R-D-E-R sound like all those urban bands like Biohazard or Cipress Hill: a heavy rap base, raw guitars and bombastic lyrics. The production helps a lot with a good sound. One thing I missed was the lack of risk. The sound is shy, They could experiment more with their sound, make other decisions, make other choices, try more things… but is fine and they will have time to make things much better in the future.
