notes
I feel quite strongly that this is my most ambitious album to date - the comments from those who have heard and bought the cd already echo my feelings and thoughts on this musical endeavor. There are a total of 19 songs [79 1/2 minutes of music], that's right!!! - 19 songs about life, love, loss, and hope. The album has a good mix and balance of songs that rock, some that are ballads, some that are of a folk rock nature and 4 songs added in from my earlier days as a drummer in the rock band "American Train".
Once again I was blessed and most fortumate to have some truly great musicians help me with this musical journey - Chris Schindler on bass guitar, Jay Hovnanian on keyboards, Derrick Feole on saxophone, and some great lead guitar tracks courtesy of these fine musicians, Roy D'Innocenzo, Hank Decken, Peter Zins, and Tom Howes. Once again I did the acoustic and electric rythym guitar parts and the drums to all of the songs. Thanks to Sherry Young, Heather Hood, and Dave Boughton for singing backup on "Brush Away Your Tears". All of these folks and the recording engineers of Bob Catalano, Terry Palmer, and Stuart Covington contributed greatly to this musical milestone for me.
take care, Mike
