Michael Miller (a.k.a. Mr. Shy), formerly lead singer of New Soul Orchestra, will spoil you with 10 strong, richly melodic tracks on his second solo album offering, Super Star, on New Soul Records.
Growing up in New York City, his influences were a diverse range, from The Beatles to Marvin Gaye to Prince, and a slew of great artists from the 70's to the present. His own singing, writing and performing over the years has resulted in a mature, distinctive song craft and style of musical expression very much his own.

Mr Shy: A Surprising Touch Of Warm Soul
author: The Wetdog ProjectRight keep it short. That's quite hard. This is an outstanding CD that I came across through the magic of myspace.com. And I consider this album one of the best finds that I've found on www. It's the feel of the music that takes you smack bang on stage with the musicians on this CD. The only down side of this CD is that we can hear it in England, yet they haven't played over here YET!!!! My recommendaton as a normally picky musician..... get this, chill with a beer (or whatever) & sit & listen to them howl at the moonlight for yer. Now you can't get fairer than that.
