Think of Weird Al. Then think of They Might Be Giants. Then think of any alternative band. Blend it all up in a blender and wadya get? A lot of blood... Anyway, TMR is still my favorite geekrock/comedy/psuedoalternative band ever! The music is clever, funny, and helps with homework (seriously, listen to them while doing Algebra II!) 5/5, Three thumbs up, and a high 5.

I rarely think things are worth top-billing (we can't all be above-average), but this CD really does deserve it. There isn't a bad track on the CD, which is really unusual. Also, each song is distinctive- it's not 14 versions of the same song. They also mix up the instruments. "My Party's Extension" is almost all piano, "She Just Doesn't Want It" has some sax, and "Marooned" even has a concertina!

Watch This is awesome! The sound quality is really great (especially for a local band :D). The songs are catchy and flow together well not to mention the DVD that comes with it. The music video is well done and the DVD also show the making of Watch This and lyrics to all the songs! This CD is definately worth buying.
