Here's another smash album project from ya boy Notorious In Lyrical Expression a.k.a Mr. C-N.I.L.E. This time, the flow is strictly for the One who made it possible for me to do what I do with the gift of rap music, MY Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This style of rap that I spit is not
what you would think of as GOSPEL RAP MUSIC because the GOSPEL IS THE GOOD NEWS OF THE LORD. This music is what I call TESTIMONY MUSIC because its all about MY TRIALS and Tribulations and all that I 've been blessed to be delivered from in this chaotic world of living and how GOD has had favor over my life even in doing my secular rap. So I decided that now its time to Sing UNTO THE LORD for He is the reason that I sing and have a Testimony to give.
This is still hip-hop though regarding the flow and the production, but my christian walk is one of struggle, great challenges and most of all, spiritual and physical obstacles that are Satan's attempts to do away with my spiritual walk and motivation to be Christ-Like in mind, body and soul. So peep the music out because THIS IS WHAT THE YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT NEED TO HEAR TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN STILL HAVE A VOICE OF STRENGTH AND POSITIVITY IN HIP-HOP MUSIC WITHOUT COMPROMISING YOUR MORALS AND ETHICS NOT BEING LOOKED UPON AS WEAK AND UNCOOL AMONG YOUR PEERS. CAUSE REMEMBER BEING GANGSTA MEANS BEING A FRONTLINE SERVANT. AND YOU CANT BE GANGSTA IF YOUR PURPOSE IS TO SERVE YOURSELF AND NOT HELP OTHERS.
MOST CATS WHO I FIND ARE INTO THE GOSPEL RAP MUSIC USE IT AS A MARKETING TOOL TO GET SALES FROM THE YOUTH SINCE THEY FEEL AS THOUGH THE CHURCH WILL "AUTOMATICALLY SUPPORT" THEM RAPPING ABOUT CHRIST. BUT MY MISSION IS TO "MOVE SOULS" RATHER THAN "MOVE RECORD UNITS" CAUSE AS THE BIBLE SAYS.... SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!!!! SO THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT... HAVING A TESTIMONY FOR OTHERS TO RELATE TO AND UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALL ARE UNDER THE MERCY OF GOD.
AND ITS TIME THAT WE ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND ALL HIS GREATNESS, FOR, "GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON".
