notes
Round Midnight is a Concept album based on different stories in an imaginary Metropole. The album will unite some Classic New Progressive influences with the pop that you've heard in THE GATES OF OMEGA. We have in mind to use every "weapons" we have :) Some clear influences will be: GENESIS, CAMEL, New KING CRIMSON, YES, PORCUPINE TREE, JOHN WILLIAMS, TONY BANKS, METALLICA (!!!!!), JEFF BUCKLEY and others... These are the definitive songs:
Round Midnight 07:43
The title track was a pure experiment. A strange union by KING CRIMSON, DEPECHE MODE and GENESIS.
Wounded 07:37
A very strange piece. Some influences by PINK FLOYD of the "A sourceful of secrets" closing section...
Killing the Angel 04:53
A great powerful song, very dramatic and intense...
Lucifero 06:33
An intense ballad very dramatic and powerfull. One of the best things on this album!!!! Talk about religion love and death...
Slowmotion Streets 06:32
A very strange piece. The refrain reminds me something of U2!!!! and some oboe parts recall BJORK atmospheres... very strange
Learning to live under the ground 10:24
The most violent piece Cris wrote for MOONGARDEN. Anthony Phillips meets METALLICA!!! :)))) In 5/4
At the end the song becomes softer and there you will hear some SIGUR ROS - like passages.
Coda: Psychedelic Subway Ride 02:00
An ambient coda for the conclusion of Learning to live...
Nightmade Concrete 06:10
It seems a song taken from "We can't dance". Electric drums and analog pad a la TONY BANKS just like fading Lights you know?
Oh,By the Way, we are so many ... 02:02
Is the conclusion...
