James Kwiecinski was born in the Midwest with a strong proclivitly to doing music and art. His early studies took him to painting in places such as Germany, Iceland and Italy. After taking his MFA in painting at SUNY New Paltz he began to explore his musical side again. Ten years later, after living in Phoenix, Seattle, and France amongst other places, he now lives in the Catskill Mountains where he has his own studio and records his own music. He lives there with his wife and daughter.
