Bliss:::
author: Kimberlee MonteauxI love this cd. Not something you find everyday...quite a rare sound- you can almost feel the passion behind the music.

Independant recordings show that music can be made well without major lables and executive giants. Songs like the quirky Coffee Mate and Tractor Polly would get lost among mainstream music. This album flows nicely taking you on a smooth ride on a summer afternoon. Monsoor accomplishes comfortably losing the listener somewhere between Greenfield and musical peace. With 22 songs how can you go wrong. All hail the independant musician.

Great acoustic kinda quirky pop, with great influences across the board. Great songs and instrumentation. Did I mention it's great? YES!! It rules!!
A true sound
author: JoshThis guy is very very creative and talented across the board. He can do it all, and everything which builds this ALL is done with uniqueness. He's definitely got his own sound and style. This cd deserves a listen, but if ya give it one...there will be many more. If you some REAL music and REAL words, then this cd is for you.

Light experimentation brings an imaginative lo-fi recording of a different kind
author: Pamela RooneyWhimsical in demeanor and razor-sharp in expression, the 22 tracks on this recording search for the boundaries of folk, pop, and rock and don’t seem to come close to finding them. Or maybe he’s just jumped over them. Utilizing standard instruments such as guitar, piano and drum kit, Monsoor sends his musical feelers into folkdom, and ends up coming back with an accordion, a harmonica, various percussive and stringed instruments, and some seriously quirky songs. He wears his musical influences like a badge of pride, and it may be because they’re so widely varied that the songs take so many different directions. Be sure to check out his other CD, which is a second volume of these songs.
