CD stuns!
author: Lamont JacksonI came across this CD while driving through Bozeman, MT and I love it! Crisp, funny, refreshing and, dare I say, groovy. Jake tosses in everything and the kitchen sink including a cello and what sounds like a Casio 403 vintage keyboard. Rock on!
A great album for cocktail parties!
author: Jimmy V.As a big fan of Jake's live shows, I was glad to see him finally get in the studio. Make Out Songs of the Old West is getting lots of airplay around my house, especially during cocktail parties. All of the tracks are well-written and entertaining and many of them are danceable. I only wish this CD included his hilarious cover of Hotel California -- the closer of each live show.
