notes
"The Movie" by Molten Mike is his Millenium CD. This concept disc has all the background for a movie. The story starts with the 3 movement Jazz-Funk-Rock "Theme to an Imaginary Movie" "Viva Le Tour" sets the stage for A Car-Boat-Cycle-Race. "Alligator Tennis Shoes" is a laid back hip-funk instrumental perfect for background. Just thinking of you serves up a haunting refrain leading to "CandleLit Room" (#29 on the Adult Contemporary Top 40 2001) a sexy Love Song for the Love Scene. The Latin Vibe Love for Jane the seductive"You know what I'm Here For" and "Clearwater Sunset" round out the love scenes. Now the inevitable break-up song "Back Of My Mind" Followed by the ironic "Worst Blues I Ever Had" finish the film and you wind down with " The "Final Scene, The Credits Roll".
It's great background party stuff or, late at night, with the candles lit......
Molten Mike has used lots of tracks and production on this
CD, as well as a large supporting cast including Female Vocals and Strings and Horns.

Lots of Production and Pop flavored instrumentals & vocals on The Movie
author: Ranluron Music, BMIThe Movie is definitely movie material. The CD starts off with Scene From an Imaginary Movie and ends with The Final Scene-The Credits Roll. In between is an orgasmic mix of Jazz, Pop, Blues and Love songs drenched in lush production. The songs Candlelit Room and You Know What I'm Here For are as sexy as any you will ever listen to and The Worst Blues I Ever Had is definitely a Rocker. This CD will grow on you with each listen and if you close your eyes you will find yourself caught up in your own imaginary movie. Grab the buttered popcorn and a cold one to listen to this slick concept album.
