the music is nothing less than excellent. the cd did not come shrink rapped and appeared to be used or not new. the insert looked like it was "xerox" copied. the only negative was that of the 28 cuts, 14 were less than 50 seconds in length. sort of like getting two bits of the best hamberger in the world and not being able to finish the hamberger; it left you wanting. but i am delighted to have the cd, and think the composer is a genius; nothing less. glw

Whether or not you've seen the documentary film about Terry Gilliam's failed attempt to make his wild version of the Don Quixote story, this soundtrack disc is a kick to experience and enjoy. Serving both as a compelling score to a clever, touching, painfully funny and sometimes agonizing film, the music alone also takes the listener through a journey on its own, through quite similar emotions and atmospheres, embracing the romance and vitality of Spain and all things Spanish. All in all, Lost In La Mancha is a savvy little album.
