ALBUM REVIEWS/ENDORSEMENTS

SHAQUILLE O'NEILL SAYS, "Using a basketball album to bridge the world for peace is one of the greatest things on earth. I fully support this great idea and congratulate the Asian Basketball Confederation for a job well done."

DALE BROWN SAYS, "This is a wonderful album of songs about basketball dedicated to world peace."

BRUCE O'NEIL, USBA PRESIDENT, SAYS, "This is a wonderful first album totally dedicated to basketball. Play for Peace is a particularly touching song that should be our theme in creating understanding between people throughout the world."

This album was commissioned by the Asian Basketball Confederation. It contains 10 songs, all about different aspects of the game. The first piece is the only solely instrumental track, and is meant to be played in the stadium as an opening track to any game. Listen for the bouncing basketball. ABC talks about players' love for the game and being a part of the team. Basketball the Asian Way talks about it being a game for one and all, in the stands or on the ball. Ain't Cool introduces the World Championship for Jr Men, in hip hop style. Play for Peace is an anthem that can be sung by players or the audience. Basketball is No.1 captures the intimacy of players on the court, while MABA Can Do It says we can win everytime because what matters is real sportsmanship. Basketball is for Everyone is specially geared to kids, and talks about the fun in the game. MABA 1999 Theme Song was the Malaysian BA's official song for that year, in the Malay language. The final track is another hip hop number and vividly captures the atmosphere inside a packed stadium with a game going on.
