This dynamic solo vocalist and performer from Beaverton, Oregon began singing and performing in public at the tender age of 13 in Musical Theatre productions and competitive A Capella singing groups. Mindi Brizendine, then moved on to perform regularly at weddings, private parties, corporate parties and events, continuing to excel in vocal competitions, and working with a private vocal pedagogy instructor for ongoing professional vocal training, and an acting coach for stage presence. After over twenty years of semi-professional performing, Mindi Brizendine began her career as a Solo Vocal Artist, entertaining audiences everywhere with great jazz & swing standards, blues, and Broadway favorites. She has performed in Jazz Lounges, in on stage in Musical Theatre productions, at Corporate parties, Private homes, Weddings, Fairs and festivals, Live Concerts, Competitons, recordings, and more!
In May 2007 Mindi Brizendine independently produced and released her first CD “AT LAST”, followed closely by her second CD "Forever Yours" in March 2008!
Mindi astounds her audiences with her intriguing collection of music. From jazz and blues standards, to tender, emotion-filled ballads, and light jazz originals.
She is guaranteed to royally entertain even the most discriminating ears and touch every heart.
In 2007, Mindi combined forces with renowned pianist, Richard Kutch, forming the Mindi Brizendine Duo.
Richard Kutch began his professional career in the 50's at the age of 17. He has worked as a solo
entertainer, and has performed across the United States and in Europe for over 30 years.
He studied piano and music theory at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois, and has a music education degree from Indiana University. He specializes in jazz standards, ragtime, rhythm and blues, as well as Broadway and Gershwin favorites.
Combining the unique vocal style of Mindi Brizendine with the creative piano stylings of Richard Kutch, and many years of thrilling audiences, make this dynamic duo the perfect choice!
