Pye...good enought to serve every meal every day!
author: Kay C.Mince Pye is the foundation of my Early Music collection. Fun, infectious, eminently dance-able! Makes me so happy!
Good Quality Renaissance music
author: Daryl DBeing a fan of Blackmore's Night(who incorporate a lot of early styles of music into their sound), I bought this CD to further explore the medieval/renaissance style. The music is of good sound quality and they make it sound hip for today's music fan. A must have for early music fans.
Excellent neoRenaissance jammin'!
author: ShawnThese crazy folke seriously rocke... Savvy, playful and infectious, Mince Pye remains true to their anachronistic roots without tipping over into twee. An eminently listenable album from a witty, talented group. Superb!
Excellent music, marvellous effort!
author: Michael B. RomerThis is truly a worthy follow-up to the first CD. The tracks all sound marvellous. They are well-played, dextrously produced, mixed and arranged, and in all represent renaissance music-making talent at its best. Keep up the good work!
Great music to get you in the mood for the Faire
author: The Earl of BergamontI'm always looking for some period music to get me in the mood for the Faire season. Mince Pye's "Pye to Go" did it for me this year. Great CD.

Ye Olde English Music. The Greatest Renaissance Band on Earth. A crazy bunch of bards...
Great CD
author: BrianI ran across Medieval Drum Dance on MP3.com and found it to be exactly what I was looking for in a song. I listened to some of their other songs and proceeded to buy the CD. I've enjoyed the entire album.
Otherworldly music from another time...Magickal
author: jackieThis is the rare cd that can take music from a long-ago era and make it accessible to people today. Nothing sappy or new-agey...just beautifully played tunes that beg to be danced to. The music of a clear Spring day. Perfect for fans of Renaissance Faires, and those that love period music (but not the stuffy opera-souding kind!) GORGEOUS!
Fun album, some excellent toe tappin' tunes
author: RichardVery enjoyable album, a little to 'oirish' in places for my taste ( I never liked river dance, sorry!) Never the less there are some fantastic, fun tunes here that are as evocative and relaxing as they can be fun and foot tappin'
Listen and take a wonderful trip to the Renaissance!
author: Todd KlingamanA splendid presentation of time honored music that enchants the ears and spirits the soul to a time long ago. The music is joyful, well played and balanced which treats the listener to one of the most bountiful experiences that can be found on an independantly produced CD. I highly recommend bringing this gem into your collection.
