Folk songs and engagement--------> mikingmihrab is happening; after the 2nd nervous breakdown (girl in Brooklyn). The first tape, the product of buying THE 4-track and a year long amphetamine binge, was crude but interesting. Met fellows in hometown and toured Long Island for a year as a three piece. Met a girl at sister's wedding and met her in Baton Rouge to go pick up her stuff in Denver. Went back to Long Island for 3rd nervous breakdown. Went to go see longtime friend Pete in Philadelphia who was homeless but staying with a woman. Met woman, future wife and he moved in with her. 3 days after his son was born M. met up with Zach Price (drums) through Craigslist. They hashed out M.'s songs from the previous years over months of rehearsals. Had a temporary bassist for the first few gigs until they met Solwecki and clicked over time. The latest recording, 'Persona Non Grata'.
