Album Notes

The band was originally formed in California in 1990, where our first four albums were recorded and released. Founding member Joe LoPresti relocated to Seattle, where he reformed the band with musicians from the Pacific Northwest. The current line-up is a group of talented musicians with diverse backgrounds in jazz, classical, and rock music. "A New Horizon," completed early in 1999, is our sixth and most recent release. On this album, the band embarks in the direction of more dynamic contemporary jazz-influenced instrumental music. Drawing upon material from all of our previous albums, our live performances are an intriguing variety of style and instrumentation, including flute, sax, guitar, keyboards, drums, and percussion. The many moods of our music satisfies a wide spectrum of musical tastes and interests. Personnel are: Clarence Cal, Jr.: Alto and soprano saxophone. Hari Shroff: Flute. Joe LoPresti: Keyboards, guitar. Steve Tapia: Lead guitar. Alan Nitzberg: Guitar, percussion. Gerry Lenocker: Bass guitar. Tom Nance: Drums.

Really nice music. I am not usually into this genre, but I like it. But it is totally weird, Gerry Lenocker, the bassist, is my 9th grade humanities teacher!
