The Chromatic Piano Romances; Opus 113.
This is music for those lonely nights, when your old loves and friends are haunting you, when there is just too much rain in your soul, and the days seem endless and without meaning. Take comfort in these pieces as you listen to them and know that you are not alone. Each of these speaks of the longing in our souls to be with someone we love; either to be with them for the first time, or with them again after parting.
I hope you enjoy every minute of these. I have even performed these on the melancholy Bosendorfer Concert Grand, which has always been favored by those composers with something dark, mysterious, or sad to say.
