Michael Kay is not your average hip-hop artist. With a career spanning back
to 1992, Michael has acquired such a versatile set of skills and unique
character that his place in the music and entertainment world is inevitable.
Michael has been educated formally in music theory, music technology, music
business, performance, and multimedia. Michael's ability to sing, rap,
dance, produce, and engineer raises the bar for his counterparts. Michael's
music adds a quite refreshing sense of positivity that is accessible to all
ages and demographics, appealing to family-minded listeners as well as your
more mainstream radio and club listeners. His amazing story has been
captured on a 60 minute DVD documentary entitled Michael Kay: Mastermind of
his time. Michael's dedication to his community and the education of young

Eugene, Oregon's Top 40 radio station, 104.7 KDUK, which continually
polishes his abilities to connect with his audience. The new album, Michael
Kay: The Balance, is due in stores March 14 2006. The first single from the
album entitled "Tonight" featuring Super Producer Bosko is already hitting
the airwaves with incredible reception.

The record the balance is a record than any mc wishes they could claim as their own HOT SHIT 4 REAL... MK makes music that sounds like he had been in luxury mansions, (while meanwhile stck in the struggle) due to how clear and hot his tracks are!!! SickSICKSICK ALBUM COP IT...MK will go down in history mark my words.. The balance is platinum material,, dont sleep..
This CD is unmatched by anything out there
author: Sebastian CatlinI live in Las Vegas and when my brother played me a little bit of Michael Kay's Music I knew I needed to have it. I got the CD about two weeks ago and it has not left my stereo yet. I even ripped a song from it and made it my ringtone. The title to this album is perfect. It has something for everyone without turning away one demographic with one song and then appealing that same demographic later. Every single song could be a single in my opinion. Allthough the CD just came out I am allready impatient about getting his next album when it comes out. This CD is perfect for the true hip hop head or the top forty listener. Michael Kay as done an incredible job from start to finish...from thw beats to the rhymes. I would incourage anyone who likes music to get this album.
