notes
Born in 1950 in Tampa, Fla., Michael began playing at 8. He studied Music at the University of South Florida. Moved to the Allman Bros. Farm in Macon, Ga. in 1974 to play with drummer Butch Trucks in "Butches Brew". That band became "Tall Dogs" when Butch left and featured Michael's original music. He relocated to Atlanta, Ga. in 1978 and has worked in various styles and groups over three decades, but in recent years has dedicated his energy to recreating the left hand approach of an earlier piano era.

author: Brenda GaffneyThis is a great cd!!! I carry it from my car to the office and listen to it most everyday. It takes me back, makes me smile and relaxes the days tensions. Mike was a good pianist as a teen. I had no idea he would be quite this amazing.
