Michael Dotson is a Chicago guitarist/singer who toured for six years with Magic Slim and the Teardrops. He has also played behind Aron Burton, Little Mack Simmons, Lefty Dizz, Jimmy Burns and a host of other Chicago artists. After numerous appearances on other peoples CDs, "Lightnin' in my pocket" is his first solo release.
"Lightnin'in my pocket" delivers hard hitting blues guitar, spanning a number of styles ... Swamp slide, primitive swing, and good old house rockin music.
