Michael Britton was born in Paducah, Kentucky and moved to Southern California at age 6. By age 9 he was playing guitar and by 12 he was playing in a professional band and recording songs. He played sports through grade , middle, and high school, and was a scouted baseball player. After college he joined "Headwinds" a Pasadena favorite that played with "Van Halen" at the Pasadena Exibition Hall numerous times. In 1980 he started "Dealer" with pre-Crue drummer Tommy Lee. Although Michael Britton excelled as a rock musician, writer and vocalist, he never lost his roots in the Americana acoustic genre. He is a professional songwriter and ASCAP Writer and Publisher member. He has songs in major motion pictures and his songs have been heard on radio playlists throughout America and Europe, many current talk shows (CNN Lou Dobbs to name one), and Michael is an advocate for the American middle class. Lou Dobb's commentary is featured on "Ramos And Compean" courtesy CNN. Road Comes Calling is an example of heart felt emotions put to Americana/Country road songs.
