Mona for Now is a three piece alternative hard rock band hailing from Hollywood, California which consists of Sheila Gonzalez on vocals and bass, Fabian Ruiz on guitar and Rich Pancani on drums Mona for Now can best be described as loud and aggressive with sickening energy.
Mona for Now took 2nd place in the Battle of the Bands held at the Key Club (on the Sunset Strip) in November of 2001. The contest, sponsored by "La Banda Elastica," West
LA Music, Paiste, Shure, and SWR, hosted 20 finalists out of more than 60 entries. Adding to their list of accomplishments you can find their song, "Sick In Five Seconds," in the Artisan movie "Soul Survivors."
The band has completed their 4th labor of love; a full length CD titled "Is Anyone Here Alive?"
