The Mixed Emotions play a wide variety of 60s, 70s, party, and Carolina's Beach Music material.They are a nine-piece group based in the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina that includes a four-piece horn section.
The Mixed Emotions perform mostly in the Carolinas and have recorded two CDs, the first entitled “The Mixed Emotions” in 2004 and the second that has just been released entitled “I Need a Walk on the Beach”.
“I Need a Walk on the Beach” is a yearlong group effort that features two original songs entitled “I Need a Walk on the Beach” and “Beautiful Summer”. Numerous radio stations in several states have begun airing these two originals with great reviews.
