Melinda Marie was born and raised in the little village of Hesperia, Michigan. In her early years she was Mama's little songbird. She began singing at her local church at the age of four. Her love of music grew with her. Before her graduation from high school, Melinda Marie performed at numerous school and church functions as a soloist. She was a featured member of the Newaygo County PRIDE team, a traveling envoy of talented high school students who performed at school and community events to promote drug and alcohol awareness.
Melinda Marie's musical influences are varied and numerous. She enjoyed her mother's favorites from early rock and roll, traditional country artists, and many contemporary artists. This young lady's melodic abilities bring forth an honest and truly unique performance that will stand the test of time.
Her first cd "All of Me" is a stylistic showcase of this lady's talent. Heart wrenching ballads and zesty country are the fare. Her approach is honest an reflects a total performance.
