Great little album
author: clintWhat's up with the no reviews? I cannot be the only dude to buy and like this album. I give it only 4 stars because the music is a little too upbeat in places to suit my all-gloom all-the-time tastes. For people who aren't fixated on existential despair in both lyrics and tunes this ought to be a no-brainer. I've got this album on my permanent playlist, and plan on buying any other albums Melanie Johnson releases. The music is welcoming, and slides around in an easy wind-in-your hair fashion (listen to the first track sample to get an idea of what I mean), but never descends to saccharine pop, and the lyrics have surprising bite. Give it a try, and post a review!
