PROTECTING LOVE - soothing hymns, scriptural prayers, vocal singing, and nature sounds that reassure the listener of God's protecting love.
THERAPEUTIC RESPONSES:
A Testimony of God's Comfort
"I bought your tape, "Protecting Love" which has brought peace to my soul. I like the harp, but also the messages in song - plus how you emphasize some truths and pray with the listener. With my current health problems, your music is the only way I can relax and get a few hours sleep. Your tapes help me put myself in God's hands." - Mary Prasky, Senior Citizen from Sun City West, AZ (diagnosed with asthma, rampant heart/pulse, and severe allergies).
Comfort for the Weary - a letter from an Activity Director
"I have been working with an 80 year old female patient for the last six months. It is my understanding she has not spoken a word to anyone for at least four years - perhaps longer. She has been gradually withdrawing from people and is somewhat despondent.
I have tried everything to get her to speak. I decided to have her listen to "Protecting Love" because I personally liked the birds on it and thought she would also.
When the tape was over, I asked the patient if she liked the tape, and she said "Yes". This was the first word I had ever heard from her - the first word she has spoken in 4 years! She really enjoyed the tape.
I find this tape to be therapeutic, and stimulating for my patients." Elias Chavez, Activity Director, Holy Cross Medical Center
Lynette had cervical cancer, and was only 34 years old. She died in July, 1994. She is survived by her husband and two children. As you can imagine, Lynette had a lot of fear. PROTECTING LOVE was written to bring comfort to those feeling fearful or weary.
